SEU Held the “2018 Spring Job Fair” for Graduate Students

On March 24th, the SEU 2018 spring job fair for graduate students was held at Jiulonghu Campus. The job fair was jointly organized by Jiangsu Recruitment and Employment Service Center and Southeast University Employment Service Center. 520 employers from around the country and over 6000 students from colleges and universities in Nanjing attended the job fair.



The employers mainly came from Anhui, Beijing, Fujian, Guangdong, Hebei, Hubei, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanxi, Shanghai, Sichuan, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Chongqing, etc., providing 33202 vacancies. The number of state-owned enterprises and military industries attending the job fair increased evidently. Employers in this job fair tended to prefer graduates from majors of mechanical engineering, automation, architecture, computer science and technology, civil engineering, information engineering, energy and power engineering, materials and so on. More than half of the employers provided abundant vacancies for graduates from majors of basic subject and social sciences. Some employers also provided internship positions for lower grade students.



The job fair made full use of the “internet plus employment” mode. Related information was delivered accurately to graduates and employers through platforms such as Wechat official account and special website of Southeast University Employment Service Center, which made it more convenient for students and employers. At the same time, the job fair optimized stands arrangement and improved service to provide a good recruitment environment.
