On the morning of May 13th, Professor Anthony Forster, President of University of Essex, visited SEU. Ding Hui, chief accountant of SEU met with President Anthony Forster, and signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities with him.
At the meeting, Ding said University of Essex had achieved a rapid development in recent years and SEU hoped to cooperate with the university in multi-aspects. Anthony Forster said thatboth Essex University and SEU had scientific research strength in computer science and electronic science and engineering fields, therefore, the expected cooperation could be started from these fields and also in humanities field. Subsequently, Ding and Anthony Forstersigned a memorandum of cooperation on behalf of the two universities.
