2015’ International Workshop on Detection and Analysis of Single Blood Cancer Cells was Held in SEU from November 1st to November 3rd.
Professor Steven Zhan from University of Maryland in the United States, Professor Roger Johnson from Arizona State University, Professor Zhao Jianlong from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor Zhou Xin from Southeast University made keynote speeches.
Participants in the workshop shared their research research progress about blood corpuscle, hematopoietic stem cell and biology of cell differentiation. They discussed measurement means towards the biological characters of single blood cells through regulation of microdevices and atomic force microscope. Furthermore, they exchanges ideas towards the application prospect of detection and analysis of single blood cancer cells in the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma.
